Apr 1959Hatsoo Nakai established as Kaga Parts, an auto parts store, in Fukushima-ku, Osaka.
Sep 1962“Reorganized Kaga Parts and established Kaga Shokai Ltd. in Kushincho, Kita-ku, Osaka. (Capital: 3.5 million yen) Established Kaga Shokai Co.”
Apr 1963Built a new office building in Genpachihashi, Kita-ku, Osaka and opened a store specializing in the manufacture and sale of duplicate keys.
Jan 1969Opened Fukuoka Branch in Hie, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City.
Dec 1971Kaga Shokai Ltd. was spun off and Kaga Corporation was established as a separate company with a capital of 5 million yen.
Jul 1974Began production and sales of decorative duplicate keys (fashion keys).
Nov 1975Increased capital of Kaga Corporation to 15 million yen.
Mar 1977Kaga Corporation changed its name to Clover Corporation, the same name as its product name. The head office was relocated to Minamimorimachi, Kita-ku, Osaka.
Dec 1977Toyonaka Factory established in Toyonaka City, Osaka.
May 1978New head office building completed and relocated to Higashimikuni, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka.
Dec 1980Moved Fukuoka Branch to Sanno, Hakata-ku for a larger office.
Jan 1981Established Tokyo Sales Office in Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
Apr 1983Joined the Japan DIY Association.
Sep 1986Manufacturing plant completed in Haradanaka, Toyonaka, Osaka (Toyonaka plant relocated).
Oct 1986Increased capital to 20 million yen.
Dec 1986Started manufacturing and sales of Camlock series (cylinder locks).
Apr 1987Started sales of mechanical keyless locks.
Nov 1988Camlock series received the Invention Encouragement Award from the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation.
Sep 1992Moved head office to the same location of its manufacturing plant (Toyonaka-city).
Mar 1993Began production and sales of key cutting machines.
Apr 1996Started import and sales as a distributor of Silica S.p.A. in Italy.
May 1997Joined ALOA Japan Chapter.
Oct 1997Joined Japan Lock Industry Association.
Nov. 2002Joined the Osaka Prefecture Lock Technician Security Cooperation Association.
Mar. 2006Clover Kyushu Ltd. was incorporated as a separate company.
Sep. 2011Established a subsidiary company, Cleat Corporation, in Higashimikuni, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka.
Nov. 2015Clover Kyushu Ltd. was made a subsidiary of Clover Corporation.
